Ministerie van Volksgezondheid
For the Dutch government I’ve worked closely together with a multi-disciplinary team to create a design system for various sites and platforms to inform and activate citizens in The Netherlands during the pandamic.

The target audience? Basically everyone; From people who can see well to people with a visual impairment. From highly educated to people who are low literate. From digital experts to people who are not that handy with technology at all.
The biggest challenge was finding a balance between all those different design challenges of app users and GGD employees. They are all important, but sometimes they contradict each other. I have never had to work with so many design constraints at once: impact on processes of the government, speed and accuracy to stop the virus, ease of use, accessibility and privacy.
Besides working on the design system. I also helped creating illustrations that helps the user understand the content.
